OPI Skyfall - The Man With The Golden Gun 18k Top Coat & Casino Royale

Sorry about the lack of posts, been really busy doing sixth form work, revising for exams etc. I'm hoping to be able to post a bit more often now though.

The Man With The Golden Gun

This is the Limited Edition OPI 'Man With The Golden Gun' Top Coat that OPI released as part of the Skyfall collection last year to celebrate 50 years of James Bond and the movie release. I absolutely love this polish! It's so shiny when it's on your nails and looks really expensive. I've received non-stop compliments on this whilst wearing it. It cost £29.99 but I think that's fair considering it has REAL 18 karat gold flakes, and a regular 15ml bottle of OPI would cost you £11 anyway. The bottle is coated in gold and it's insanely pretty just to look at. I'm a huge fan of pretty things.

Having said this, I will say that there doesn't seem to be that many flakes in my bottle. It's kinda hard to see inside, so I could be wrong, but even when I was applying it not many were on the brush. The above photo is with two coats. Personally, I think I could've added another one or two to make it look even better but I didn't want to be wasteful (haha how stingy am I) so I left it at just the two.

The colour I'm wearing underneath is OPI's Casino Royale, again from the Skyfall collection. This is a plum/burgundy creme polish. I adore this colour, it's really sophisticated and it looks really good against  the skin, making your nails look longer!

Since both of these were limited editions released last year, you'll need to get them quick if you want them. This collection will become retired as soon as the spring/summer OPI colours are released. I think Casino Royale should still be in stock at a lot of places but Man With The Golden Gun could prove difficult to get as Lena White, OPI's UK Distributor sold out of this really quickly back in October 2012.
